Danny Dyer launched an expletive rant at David Cameron as he thanked the former Prime Minister for helping him to win big at the TV Choice Awards.

The hard man, 41, picked up the Best Soap Actor gong for his role as Mick Carter in EastEnders at Monday night’s ceremony.

Dyer joked that he may not have won the accolade for his acting but because his daughter Dani Dyer won Love Island and because he branded Cameron a “t***” on live TV.

On accepting the award from Kelly Brook and Lisa Snowdon he said: “F*** me I’ll keep this brief it’s f****** nearly Wednesday innit?

“I want to thank all the EastEnders mob. I love them all dearly they’re beautiful creative people.

“I’d like to think I’ve won this because I’m a blinding actor but I fear it’s actually because my daughter’s won Love Island and also because I called David Cameron a t***.”

The expletive-laden rant comes weeks after he slated Cameron for stepping down ahead of Brexit negotiations.

Speaking on Good Evening Britain – a one off special of ITV flagship breakfast show Good Morning Britain – he said: “No one has got a f****** clue what Brexit is, yeah. You watch Question Time, it’s comedy.

“No one knows what it is, it’s like this mad riddle. No one knows what it is, right.

“How come he can scuttle off? He called this on. Where is the geezer? I think he should be held accountable for it.”

Fans praised the “inspirational” speech and called for Danny to run for Prime Minister.
