Ellie Goulding rides a horse through a casino in racy new video for On My Mind

Ellie Goulding has debuted the eagerly-awaited video for brand new single On My Mind.

Riding a horse through a Las Vegas casino, the video sees the pop star getting revenge on a jealous lover.

Opening in a hotel room, Goulding looks unimpressed as her boyfriend shouts at her and tries to control her.

The video, directed by Emil Nava, sees the singer get her own back by arriving at his casino on horseback and stealing all of his money.

When the song was debuted last week, many of Goulding’s fans seemed to think that it was in response to Ed Sheeran’s song about her.

Lyrics appear to allude to their short-lived relationship, which Sheeran documented in last year’s song Don’t.

She sings: “Thought that you were cute and you could make me jealous/ Pour it down, so I poured it down/ Next thing that I know, I'm in a hotel with you...

“You were talking deep like it was mad love to you/ You wanted my heart, but I just liked your tattoos.”

Goulding has since denied that the track is about anyone in particular, insisting that fans are reading too much into it.

Speaking to MTV, she said: “I'm sorry to all the people that want it to be about someone - it's not, it's like a myth.

“'I like guys with tattoos, my boyfriend has tattoos… but I don't mind.

“People can read into it however they want. It's fun to do that, I would do that too.”
