Chris Hemsworth delighted one of his biggest fans when he gave her a massage after turning up unannounced at her work.

Hemsworth, 32 – who plays a receptionist in the all-female Ghostbusters reboot – teamed up with Ellen DeGeneres to surprise a Warner Bros. employee in celebration of Administrative Professionals Day.

On seeing Hemsworth the unsuspecting fan screamed: “Oh my, are you kidding me? This is amazing.”

The Thor actor gave her a head massage and joked they were naked in her office as fellow employees tried to catch a glimpse of the Hollywood star.

They wrapped up the celebrations with a game of limbo, tequila shots and the promise of tickets to the New York premiere of Ghostbusters.

Hemsworth plays a secretary who he describes as a “big dumb puppy dog” in the Paul Feig directed film.

He stars alongside Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones who have stepped into the shoes of Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis and Ernie Hudson.

His part, played by Annie Potts in the original 1984 film, was reportedly beefed up for the actor.

A source told Variety: “Insiders say the studio went to Hemsworth very early on in the process for one of the major male roles but the Aussie actor passed because the role was too small.

“Since then Sony sent the script back to be reworked so the part could be beefed up.”
