Kate expectations must be catching, and Gwyneth Paltrow is the latest to get the broody bug.

The 40-year-old admitted she wants another baby, even though she feels it would not be sensible at her age.

The actress already has two children with her husband Chris Martin – eight-year-old Apple and six-year-old Moses.

She suffered bad post-natal depresseion when Moses was born, but says she loves being a mother.

“My brain says, 'Oh, I think I'm done, the kids are big now and I don't want to go back to changing diapers'. But a part of me would love to have another. Of course, I'm old now!"

She said she felt the problems she had after Moses was born mean she has “an extra empathy for him and he for me”.

She admitted to InStyle magazine that she sacrifices exciting film roles to look after her family.

“You make choices as a wife and mother, don't you?” she said. “You can't have it all."
