In the dog house: Max George denied chihuahua visiting rights by his ex, Michelle Keegan

The Wanted's Max George has been denied visiting rights to a dog he shared with Coronation Street actress Michelle Keegan.

Although the pair secretly split up weeks ago, his ex-girlfriend Bobbi Aney recently revealed he had been sending her racy texts.

The 23-year-old singer hoped to still see their chihuahua, Pip - which he bought as an engagement and birthday present - but 25-year-old Michelle doesn't want him around.

A source said: "He's not on great terms with Michelle at the moment, especially after the whole sex text thing. She won't pick up the phone to him and has made it clear through the small conversations they've had he hasn't got a chance of visiting his pup."

Bobbi, 29, had boasted: "Phone sex was natural between us, I could get it at the click of a finger."

The source continued: "Max has had a hell of a week. He's been so down about everything that's happened and has been working really hard to try and take his mind off things.

"Max loves the dog and if he wasn't on tour so much he would have Pip living with him."

The added: "He's absolutely gutted about it, he had grown so close to him and feels like he's lost one of his best mates. To not even be able to pop in and see him, or take him for a walk from time to time has really upset him.

"He loved that dog and is furious that even though he splashed the cash on it he'll never see it again."
