Justin Bieber has admitted that sometimes he struggles to ‘get through the days’ and is often lonely on the road.

In a new interview, the Canadian pop sensation says that he wants people to know that he’s ‘human’ despite his superstar status.

Speaking to NME, he said: “I just want people to know I’m human. I’m struggling just to get through the days. I think a lot of people are.

“You get lonely, you know, when you’re on the road. People see the glam and the amazing stuff, but they don’t know the other side.”

Bieber, who’s new album Purpose is released on Friday, sees Kanye West as a creative mentor.

“Out of anyone in the industry who is creative and I see eye to eye with, he really gets me,” he told the magazine.

“His advice is always just, ‘make music that’s so good people can’t hate on it.’”

Bieber has just announced that he will be embarking on a world tour in March 2016.
