Kylie Jenner locked out when security guard awkwardly fails to recognise her
Kylie Jenner was locked outside her house after her security guard awkwardly failed to recognise her.
The reality TV star, 19, pulled up to the gate of her house and was questioned about her identity by the guard, who asked her if she was a friend of Kylie Jenner.
The Keeping Up With the Kardashians regular documented the embarrassing encounter on Snapchat as she waited to be let into her California mansion.
Speaking to the camera she said: “So I just pulled up to my gate and I was like normal routine, 'hey it's Kylie Jenner.' Waits for the gate to open and he goes: 'Are you with Kylie Jenner?'
“And I was like: ‘Oh no it is the Kylie Jenner.”
The youngest of the Kardashian clan was finally allowed in, and despite initially being denied entrance, she revealed she was excited to be able to ask: “Do you know who I am?”
She continued: “It was the first time I was able to say that in a proper conversation. I've just also always wanted to say that I don't know why.”
Jenner said her new bleached blonde hair could have been the reason behind her guard’s confusion.
“I'm not saying ‘oh my god guys he didn't know who the f*** I was it's crazy’, but I've just known this guard since I was like f****** born.

“Maybe it's the hair? I don't know. I've lived here all my life.”
Jenner's Snapchats came hours after her brother-in-law Kanye West was admitted to hospital and treated for stress.
US site TMZ reported the rapper had gone to his trainer Harley Pasternak’s home for help with sleep deprivation and was “acting erratically” when they decided to call in the police.
West's wife Kim Kardashian pulled out of a public appearance in New York to fly back to Los Angeles to be by her husband's side.
Kardashian's mother Kris Jenner stood in for Kardashian and told reporters that her son-in-law is "exhausted".
She said: “He’s exhausted he’s just really tired. He’s had a gruelling tour and it’s been a grind so he just needs some rest.”
