Liam Gallagher really doesn't have ‘feels’ for Calvin Harris.

The 44-year-old blasted the world famous DJ as “boring” and rejected any suggestion that DJs have become the “new rock stars”.

Speaking to Huck, he said: “Not in my world, they haven’t. What, Calvin f****** Harris? The most boring f****** person?

“F*** off, mate. I’ll tell you what they’ve become: the new accountants!”

Asked if he believes himself to be the greatest living rock icon, Gallagher replied: “Others have said it and I do believe they’re not f****** wrong.

“I think people are starting to realise what they’ve been missing. Someone who’s completely 100 per cent into it, someone who doesn’t b******* people or stand for b*******.”

But many failed to echo Gallagher’s sentiments with many claiming the former Oasis frontman is “over”.

One tweeted: “Why is he still talking? Lmao Liam is over unlike Calvin Harris, Calvin hits and break many records unlike Liam.”

Another posted: “Give him a couple of years and he'll become a DJ, 90's rock style is a relic and he is a walking fossil @liamgallagher.”

A third couldn’t resist taking a swipe at Gallagher’s style, tweeting: “Cuz we care about what a bloke who thinks camouflage is a fashion statement thinks.”

Gallagher recently announced a UK tour in support of his debut solo album As You Were which will see him play venues in Leeds, Glasgow, Plymouth, London, Nottingham, Birmingham, Cardiff and Brighton.

It will kick off in Belfast on October 30 before wrapping up in Manchester with a homecoming gig on December 16.
