Lisa Armstrong has found something to distract herself from her split from Ant McPartlin.

The make-up artist, 41, hung out with her “gorgeous boys” backstage at Strictly Come Dancing ahead of Saturday night’s live show.

Armstrong shared a picture of herself with professional dancers Giovanni Pernice and Aljaz Skorjanec, who was dressed as a rabbit for Movie Week.

She tweeted: “My gorgeous boys!! @AljazSkorjanec @pernicegiovann1 #strictlyatthemovies #lovemyjob xx.”

Fans joked they were “not at all envious” with some claiming they had been convinced to “change job”.

Armstrong’s post comes weeks after she slammed any suggestion she needs her estranged husband for her career, insisting she has secured work for nearly two decades in her own name.

Hitting back at claims she needs McPartlin for work, she tweeted: “Just for the record I’ve worked and got my own work for the last 15 years in my own name! #justsaying #businessasusual #stopmakingstuffup x.”

Armstrong and McPartlin announced their split in January after 11 years of marriage. He later struck up a relationship with his PA Anne Marie Corbett.

She vented her fury at the new relationship on Twitter, telling fans Corbett was “my Friend and OUR Pa who I let into OUR home”.

She also revealed neither party informed her of their romance, claiming she found out through the media.

McPartlin and Corbett were said to have grown close while he was recovering from addiction.

He sought treatment after a drink-driving crash in March between the Mini he was driving and two other vehicles.

He was arrested and later fined £86,000 and banned from driving for 20 months.
