Meghan Markle’s Suits co-stars have wished her well ahead of tomorrow's Royal Wedding.

The American actress rose to fame playing Rachel Zane on the hit US legal drama but called time on the show last year following her engagement to Prince Harry.

Her former colleagues have sent their best wishes to the couple ahead of the ceremony at Windsor Castle.

Gina Torres, who plays Jessica Pearson, opened up about the wedding in an interview with the Today show on Friday, admitting she was “surprised” to be invited.

She said: “I was surprised. I think you know, you hope and I hope nothing but the best – as we all do- for her. This is an incredible step in her life so to bear witness to that is extraordinary.”

Sarah Rafferty who portrays executive assistant Donna Paulsen and has previously been described by Markle as her “Suits wife” is also set to be in attendance of the day.

Speaking about the couple Rafferty said: “They’re a great match.

“We worked together for so many years. We were with each other longer than [when] we went to high school. This is a wonderful family affair.”

The TV stars met with Prince Harry prior to the engagement when he paid a visit to the set last September.

Actor Rick Hoffan, who plays Louis Litt on the show, recalled his shock when he saw the Prince.

“I was like, ‘You’ve got to be kidding me,'” he laughed. “It was like both of us in the trailer, like, ‘You’re dating a prince.'”

He did however warn Markle to “take it slow, be careful and don’t let him hurt you”, following news of their romance.

Only a handful of the US cast have been invited to Markle’s special day, including on-screen husband Patrick J. Adams and Gabriel Macht and Jacinda Barett who play Harvey Specter and Zoey Lawford respectively.

Suits stars Abigail Spencer and Amanda Schull are also rumoured to have bagged themselves an invite.
