One Direction’s Harry Styles gets tattoo live on James Corden's Late Late Show

James Corden made sure Harry Styles would never forget One Direction’s latest Late Late Show appearance - by giving him a tattoo.

The boys – Styles, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne – were on the show to promote their latest album Made in the AM when they were roped into a game of Tattoo Roulette.

The Deal or No Deal inspired game saw the boys – including host Corden – stand behind red boxes.

Tomlinson, Payne and Corden - who was set to get One D tattooed - lifted their lids to reveal a ‘safe’ sign.

Horan looked genuinely panicked when he realised it was either himself or Styles who would be left with the permanent inking.

But he was soon jumping for joy – and looked close to tears – when Styles lifted the lid to reveal the word ‘tattoo’.

Styles then sat down to get the new inking which read “Late Late”.

When asked how he felt by Corden the singer replied: “I feel good.” Holding his head he added: “I’m a little woozy.”

Tomlinson joked: "It's just going to be another stupid one, isn't it? So it's alright."

Corden teased the inking in a preview clip for the episode.

Standing next to the four piece, he said: “Tonight, one of us is getting a real tattoo here. I pray it’s not me. This is the Late Late Show.”

The band also performed their latest single History while Tomlinson pretended to be a cat on Corden's lap.
