Ben Stiller (Starsky) and Owen Wilson (Hutch) star in this comedy homage to the 1970s cop show. With tongues firmly in cheeks, the crime-fighting duo set about tracking down drugs baron Vince Vaughan who is dealing a new kind of cocaine that passes for artificial sweetener.

Fans of the original TV series will be pleased to see the return of the show's trademarks such as Starsky's dapper belted cream-cardigan and woolly black hat combo and, of course, his prized Ford Torino. Huggy Bear also makes an appearance with a hilarious turn from Snoop Dogg as the ultra-cool police informant.

Although there's the odd dodgy line, there are plenty of genuinely funny ones, and rule-abiding Starsky and maverick Hutch are the perfect balance for each other. Wilson in particular steals the show with his laid-back comic timing. Plus, there’s a cameo appearance from the original stars to look out for.
