Stephen Fry reveals that he 'wants' children' with new husband Elliot Spencer

Stephen Fry has revealed that he has been 'talking about' having children with new husband Elliot Spencer.

Admitting that he's still in the 'honeymoon' phase with his 27-year-old other half, the comedian, 57, admitted that he was going to have to get a move on if he wanted to become a father.

Speaking to Kirsty Young on Desert Island Discs, he said: "We sort of talk about it and I suddenly think, ‘Oh my goodness I’m such an age now’, but actually that’s rather good, but we better get on with it if we do.”

Discussing how he's adapting to married life, he added: "I’m still very much in the honeymoon phase. I think we both are, I hope so, and new and miraculous things have happened in our culture and I wanted to celebrate that and what better way than to be married.

“It’s bliss, I do carry a ridiculous beam on my face."

Fry went on the discuss Spencer as the 'great love of my life' as he dedicated Ella Fitzgerald's Do I Love You to him.

The much-loved star went on to discuss how Prince Charles would have reacted to his recent revelatino that he did cocaine at Buckingham Paalce.

He said: "I think it’s safe to say that he knows I’m naughty, and I think he’s not a judgemental, mean, prissy sort of man.

“I think he would not be especially pleased at the thought of somebody doing that in the palace but nor would he leap to point you to the exit door and say ‘never return again’.”
