Super Bowl XLIX: Katy Perry makes crowd roar with spectacular half time performance
Katy Perry made sure to make fans roar with a spectacular half time Super Bowl performance on Sunday night.
The 30-year-old singer rode onto the stage at the University of Phoenix stadium atop a giant metallic lion as she sung her hit song Roar.
Dressed in a flame inspired outfit, Perry made her way on to the stage where she was joined by a leather clad Lenny Kravitz.

Perry twerked against the Fly Away singer as the pair transitioned into I Kissed A Girl before the stage was transformed into a beach and Perry donned a multicoloured mini dress to perform Teenage Dreams and California Gurls while surrounded by sharks.
Missy Elliott was unveiled as the surprise act, who Perry said last week would cause "faces to melt".
The pair took to the stage to perform Get Ur Freak On and Work It before Elliott belted out a solo performance of Lose Control.
Perry then wowed the crowd as she changed into a silver gown and flew across the pitch to her hit song Firework.
Her performance paid off with A list stars including Jason Biggs declaring their new found love for the singer.
The Orange is the New Black star tweeted: "I wasn't going to, but after that awesome shooting star bit I'm gonna download all of Katy Perry's albums!"
