Una Healy says her life has “been turned upside down” after her marriage to rugby star Ben Foden ended following claims of his infidelity.

The Saturdays singer, who has two children — Aoife and Tadhg — with the 33-year-old rugby player, was speaking about their split for the first time.

Foden confirmed their divorce when he wrote about it on his profile for dating app Bumble, just weeks after reports that he had had an affair with PR worker Becky Milne.

Neither have commented on the claims.

Healy said: “My life has been turned upside down and I’m trying to figure it out.

“I’m taking each day as it comes and just being there for my children. The most important job for me is to be the best parent I can and to provide and look after them. They’re my priority.

“You have to be strong for your children as they’re dependent on you.

“But with that responsibility comes great satisfaction. I’m looking forward to all the milestones in their lives that we’ll share.”

The singer told Hello! Magazine that new material could focus on her heartache, saying: “When things happen in my life, I write a lot. It’s a form of therapy.”

The former couple wed in 2012 before announcing the end of their six-year marriage in July this year.

The family had been planning to move to the US after Foden signed a contract with a team in New York.
