A number of high profile celebrities are backing Children's Hospice Week which takes place between May 15-22.

The theme of heroes is being used to celebrate the work of children's hospice services.

Hero style masks have been designed by stars including Lewis Hamilton, Lily Allen, Twiggy and The Saturdays.


Team spirit: Steven Gerrard's mask matches his kit

These will be exhibited as part of an exclusive art exhibition called This is my hero, alongside inspiring artwork created by children and their siblings who are supported by children's hospice services across the UK.


Busy bee: Lewis Hamilton takes some time out to paint for charity

The exhibition is open to the public between 17 and 22 May at The Gallery in Cork Street London.

These masks are available to see and bid for at www.thisismyhero.org.uk. The money raised will directly support children's hospice services.

Children's Hospice Week is also supported by Children's Hospices UK patrons Simon Cowell, Max Clifford and Holly Willoughby.
