Charlotte transforms into a chav geezer

This gold toothed menacing chav may look like he's out to cause trouble but infact he or should that be she, actually has more angelic attributes.

That's because underneath layers of prosthetics and make-up lies 'voice of an angel' singer Charlotte Church in disguise for a stunt on her new TV show.

The 20-year-old singer became R'n'B DJ Charlie Chapel - who bears an uncanny resemblance to celebrity Big Brother star and Drum 'n' Bass DJ Goldie - to go speed dating.

But although Charlotte looked the part, the high note hitting singer had trouble perfecting a deep male voice.

One insider said: "The transformation was amazing. Charlotte looked just like a man and had many of the women fooled."

At the end of the sketch she ripped off the prosthetic mask in front of the stunned girls.

The hidden camera routine will be a regular feature of Charlotte's Channel 4 show, which starts tomorrow.

Her guests in the studio are Denise Van Outen and comic Michael McIntyre.

Will & Grace star Eric McCormack appears in a Welsh version of the hit sitcom called Hywl & Grwys.

And Charlotte joins indie rockers The Feeling as they perform their new single.
