Dermot O'Leary to grill party leaders

X Factor host Dermot O'Leary is to throw the spotlight on Gordon Brown, David Cameron and Nick Clegg by quizzing them on first-time voters' concerns.

Dermot Meets... will see the presenter putting a range of questions submitted by younger members of the electorate to the political leaders.
BBC3 said it will also broadcast interviews with Plaid Cymru and the Scottish National Party (SNP).

Viewers can submit their questions to the political heavyweights via the BBC website.
O'Leary said: "If young people really are to get politics, then politics must really understand young people. I want to get to the bottom of their policies and ideas on behalf of the millions of first-time voters in this country."

The series of BBC3 shows follows on from Dermot O'Leary's First Time Voters Question Time.
Interviews with Mr Cameron and Mr Clegg will be shown this Wednesday while the interview with the Prime Minister will air next Wednesday.

The interviews with Plaid Cymru and the SNP will also be shown next Wednesday.
