Their marriage may be over, she may even have had some sharp words for his current girlfriend - but Mick Jagger and Jerry Hall still looked the best of friends when they met at Ronnie Wood's art show.

Then again, the Rolling Stone's relationship with his ex-wife has never been exactly conventional.

When they were splitting up, he argued that they had not been properly married in the first place. But once their split was finalised, he moved into a flat next door to the home near Richmond Park where Hall and the children were still in residence.

Hall eventually put her foot down, saying that the presence of Mick's current girlfriend L'Wren Scott was a bad influence on the junior Jaggers. He has moved out and was last seen house-hunting in Knightsbridge and South Kensington. Their latest encounter came at a party to mark the hanging of Wood's paintings at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane.

Guests included Tracey Emin, Jamie and Jools Oliver and the families of Wood and fellow Stone Charlie Watts.

Even if it had a higher glamour quotient than most art openings, some things remain the same. As far as can be ascertained, no one was looking at the pictures...
