Kate Moss is launching her own range of jam.

The supermodel is hoping to set up a business selling homemade preserves after perfecting her own recipes at her country estate in the Cotswolds.

A source told The Sun newspaper: "Kate bought a load of expensive equipment because she's always been keen on the idea of making jam.

"She has so much fruit on her land she wanted to put it to good use.

"It started as a hobby, but she's taking it a lot more seriously after glowing feedback from friends and family. She's hoping her plum conserve will be a hit with the public."

Kate - who has been helped by her seven-year-old daughter Lila Grace to make the jam - got hooked on the process of making preserves after finding hoards of damsons in her garden.

After positive feedback from family and friends, the 36-year-old catwalk beauty has sent samples of the product, called Kate's Damson Jam, to some of her celebrity pals including Simon Cowell.

She has also called her friend, billionaire retailer Sir Philip Green, to get advice on how to get the jams stocked in supermarkets.
