Kate Moss is back in the arms of her junkie lover Pete Doherty two weeks after throwing him out of her house.

The model partied until late with the Babyshambles singer on a night out in London, proving that their rocky eight-month relationship is back on.

But Miss Moss's friends and family are dismayed that she is once again seeing the heroin and cocaine addict.

One friend, who asked not to be named, said: 'This relationship is destroying Kate. Everyone is so worried about what this is doing to her.

'Pete is the worst influence he could possibly be and has distanced her from all her friends.

'It is like an extreme version of the Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton romance - they can't live without each other but the relationship is totally destructive.'

Some say the stress is taking its toll on Miss Moss's looks.

Last week, following the pair's latest spat, she was pictured looking gaunt. She appeared similarly haggard at the Glastonbury festival with Doherty in June.

Miss Moss first got together with Doherty at her 31st birthday party in January. A few weeks later they broke up after he was arrested for getting into a fight and was sent to rehab.

She got back with him after he left rehab, but there were more rows last month.

And they were said to have split again two weeks ago after Doherty got into a fight with a group of teenagers after an afternoon spent drinking.

Although Doherty, who performed a shambolic duet with Sir Elton John at Live 8, has implants to stop him taking heroin, he has made no secret of the fact that he still regularly takes crack cocaine.
