Pearl Lowe is pregnant with fifth child

Designer Pearl Lowe is pregnant with her fifth child, she announced in an interview with Hello! magazine.

The 41-year-old, who counts Sadie Frost and Kate Moss among her celebrity friends, said the baby was due in the autumn.

She is married to Supergrass drummer Danny Goffey.
Lowe told the magazine: "I'm sure a lot of people will think Danny and I have gone mad. Five kids! It is a bit mental. But Danny and I are over the moon."

She said that model Daisy, 21, whose father is Bush frontman Gavin Rossdale, was very pleased to hear the news.

"Daisy just screamed! She was thrilled. She just loves being a sister and to hear that she was going to have another sibling was the best news ever."

The couple's other children are Alfie, 13, Frankie, 10 and Betty, 4.

Lowe was a vegetarian for five years but has now returned to being a carnivore.

She said: "I know that sounds a bit weird, and it's not something I would have done otherwise, but I am very anaemic so I did it for the baby. It hasn't been easy for me."

Goffey said: "Everyone is really happy for us. I think they might think in the back of their heads that we are a little crazy - but there's no change there! We are hardly the most conventional of families as it is. Another addition to the Goffey Mad House."
