Pete Doherty was evicted from his flat yesterday after being branded the tenant from hell.

The Babyshambles singer, 27, was turfed out of the £350,000 property after allegedly trashing the home and racking up more than £10,000 in unpaid rent.

"He has not paid a penny since January and a court has ordered him to leave," said owner Andreas Panayiotou. "There is graffiti and blood on the wall, and goodness knows what else. We have never known anyone like him."

Doherty called two friends to collect his belongings as he is in drug rehab at the Priory clinic in North London.

They arrived in a van at the three-storey townhouse in Hackney, East London, at midday and loaded it up with furniture and other possessions.
