Peter Andre is still having "bleeding issues".

The 'Behind Closed Doors' hitmaker - who was hospitalised with kidney poisoning last month - is well enough to begin performing again, but is still not completely recovered from his recent health scare.

He said: "For those who have been asking about my health, I'm still feeling OK, if not 100 per cent better. There's still some bleeding issues, but my doctor has assured me it's fine for me to perform, so I'm determined not to let my fans down.

"The audiences have been fantastic at my gigs and I've had really good reviews. All my hard work has paid off!"

Though he is still not completely well, Peter - who has son Junior, five, and daughter Princess Tiaamii, three, with ex-wife Katie Price, and is also stepfather to the glamour model's eldest child, eight-year-old Harvey - is looking forward to indulging in Christmas festivities as he will spend the season with all three kids.

He wrote in his column for new! magazine: "I'm seeing all three of the kids a lot over Christmas and I can't wait. I've bought them so many toys. Princess' room will be transformed into a winter wonderland, Junior is getting an amazing remote control helicopter and Harvey will be spoiled rotten with lots of sensory toys.

"On the days when I didn't have the kids last week, I decorated the house. I've put up four Christmas trees! You should have seen their faces when they saw it all. It was seeing Junior in his nativity play that really got me into the festive spirit, though. He was completely brilliant in it."
