How very rock and roll... well, perhaps a little more roll than rock. Members of Donny Tourette's band Towers Of London were involved in a brawl outside the posh Mahiki bar in Mayfair.

The guys are well known for their publicity stunts - but this scrap looked like the real deal. Maybe that's why Donny wisely waited in the car.

More here...

Strangely enough the whole incident kicked off over a black hat belonging to Donny's brother Dirk.

A witness said that a random punter flipped the hat off Dirk's head as the band were leaving the club. And then, in typical rock style, all hell broke loose.

Dirk's fellow band mates The Rev and Tommy Brunette piled in. Perhaps not wanting to ruin his meticulously dishevelled look, Donny high-stepped it to a waiting car and watched proceedings from the back seat.

Thankfully, fellow Mahiki guests Prince William and Madonna were spared from witnessing the uncouth behaviour.

A party-goer told us: "It was utter mayhem. Dirk went mad when this guy tried to take his hat and got the rest of the band involved too.

"Donny stood by the front door watching it all unfold and then jumped into a cab to avoid the messy brawl. It was obvious that he didn't want anything to do with it."

It's a pity he wasn't so controlled last Saturday night when he was kicked out of Shepherd's Bush bar The Defectors Weld - for annoying other drinkers.

Daily Mail sister paper London Lite reported revellers were so angry at Donny's behaviour that they decided to issue him with an ultimatum: get out or the police will be called.

One drinker at the pub said: "Donny was all over the place and being very, very noisy.

"At first everyone was looking at him and were impressed that he was in their local but then after a while the novelty wore off and people were complaining about him.

"The staff then went to him and his gang and told them they had to leave. Donny tried to argue but he wasn't really in any state to put across an argument and was told if he didn't go that second then the police would be there. So he left."

Oh, if only Towers Of London were known for their music!
