Stones reschedule concert after Mick Jagger's sore throat

A Rolling Stones concert in Atlantic City, New Jersey canceled due to Mick Jagger's sore throat has been rescheduled for November 17.

Philadelphia-based concert promoter Electric Factory Concerts announced that the original show at Boardwalk Hall would not go ahead on Friday night just hours before the doors were to open.

Mick Jagger had been ordered to rest after developing the throat ailment, according to a statement posted on Boardwalk Hall's website.

The 63-year-old rocker had a bout of laryngitis in August that forced the Stones to reschedule or cancel several dates on their European tour.
