Twins for Vic and Nancy
Underwear model Nancy Sorrell, wife of comic Vic Reeves, has given birth to twin girls.
The couple have named the babies Elizabeth, who was born weighing 5lb 8oz, and Nell, who was born weighing 5lb 3oz.
Sorrell, 31, and Reeves, 47, real name Jim Moir, had already moved to a larger home in Kent in preparation for the new arrivals.
They had previously joked about the task of naming the twins on Reeves's Virgin Radio show.
The funnyman opted for Simon and Garfunkel or Batman and Robin, while his wife suggested Bill and Ben.
The babies join a household of Moir's two children, Alice and Louis, from a previous marriage.
Sorrell, the face of Ann Summers since 2003, has recently made her debut as a TV presenter and has a magazine column.
Her husband is best known for his TV comedy partnership with Bob Mortimer on shows including Vic Reeves' Big Night Out and the quiz Shooting Stars.
The pair also recorded a number one hit single in 1991 in collaboration with The Wonder Stuff with a re-working of the 1960s song Dizzy.
More recently, Reeves lost his voice-over contract for Churchill Insurance adverts after ploughing his vintage Jaguar into a parked car while drunk.
In 2004 Reeves and Sorrell were both contestants in the fourth series of TV reality show I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here!
Reeves grew up in Darlington, County Durham, and tried his hand as a pig farmer and factory inspector.
But his love of Monty Python was so overwhelming that he decided to try stand-up and moved to London.
He created his stage name Vic Reeves from his favourite singers Vic Damone and Jim Reeves.
