Wiz Khalifa now has the most-watched video on YouTube as See You Again has surpassed Psy’s Gangnam Style.

The rapper’s collaboration with Charlie Pugh, recorded as a tribute to actor Paul Walker for the Furious 7 soundtrack, has now been watched 2,895,373,709 times.

The emotional ballad has just edged past Psy’s pop video phenomenon, which currently stands at 2,894,426,475 views.

The South Korean track had been the site’s most popular video for the last five years, forcing the company to rewrite its play counter after it exceeded the maximum possible views.

Khalifa’s 2005 chart-topping hit reached an impressive one billion views in just six months after it was released back in 2015 and hit the two million mark last September.

The video accompanies the song, which plays over the end credits of the seventh film in the Fast and the Furious franchise, released after Walker’s tragic death.

It features actors Vin Diesal, playing Dominic Torettto, and Cody Walker, who fills in for his brother in the role of Brian O’Conner, following his death in 2013 in a road collision.

The pair drive side-by-side in two cars before smiling at each other and driving out onto separate roads.

Hot on Khalifa’s heels is recent hit Despacito, by Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee and featuring Justin Bieber.

The new release already has 2.5 million views on the video sharing site just six months after its release.
