Won over: TV award for loved-up Simon Cowell
Simon Cowell followed National Television Awards success last night with a very public display of appreciation for fiancée Mezhgan Hussainy.
After picking up the most popular talent show award for The X Factor at the O2, Cowell, 51, went off with Ms Hussainy for dinner at Mr Chow's in Knightsbridge.
Backstage at the ceremony -before all the kissing, cuddling and loving looks appeared to have worn him out, below right - he promised "a few surprises" as he shakes up the British version of his show and launches the format in the US.
He is expected in the next two weeks to end speculation over whether Cheryl Cole will join the US panel.
He wouldn't reveal the nature of his own involvement in the next British series but stressed that neither Dannii Minogue nor Louis Walsh had yet signed up.
He said: "They haven't been given a contract yet... It has got to be different, full stop."
