Broncos ease drop fears

London Broncos moved out of the bottom two in Super League with a 38-24 victory over Widnes.

The result eased the club's relegation fears by creating a five-point lead over 12th-placed Castleford.

London coach Tony Rea said: "We're not focusing on the relegation battle. We are better than that.

"If we keep putting in performances like that the results will take care of themselves."

Fit-again Jim Dymock and playmaker Dennis Moran were outstanding as the Broncos established a 22-0 inside the first half-hour.
