Huddersfield Giants have confirmed that head coach Nathan Brown will remain with the club until the end of the 2011 season.

The 36-year-old Australian had announced earlier in the season that he planned to return home at the end of the campaign, but the club revealed his change of heart during half-time of Sunday's Engage Super League clash with Crusaders at Galpharm Stadium.

"I am delighted to announce that I will be remaining with the Giants," Brown said in a club statement.

"In May I tendered my resignation due to personal family matters, which took priority in my life. Thankfully I am now in a position to have moved positively forward since those family matters which will allow me to remain with the Giants next year.

"It is such an exciting time at the club with the development of so many players that I look forward to continuing to work with throughout this year and next."
