Charlton v Dagenham & Redbridge

14 April 2012

(3pm, The Valley).
Tickets: £15 (£8 concs). Dagenham have sold out their allocation
Fact: Dagenham have won four of their last six away games, including the 1-0 victory over Lincoln City in the last round.
Recommended pub: Charlton Conservative Club (Charlton Church Road)
A decent FA Cup run can often have worrying repercussions for a club's League form, as Charlton discovered to their considerable cost last time they were in the Premiership, but these newish millennium Addicks have more about them, as we saw with that fantastic victory over Arsenal on New Year's Day. There is no reason why Alan Curbishley's team shouldn't go a long way in this season's competition, as long as they're drawn at home in every round, while Dagenham & Redbridge should savour their coach ride through the Blackwall Tunnel and an afternoon to remember.
VERDICT: NO CUP SHOCK HERE
