Charlton v Manchester Utd

14 April 2012

(3pm, The Valley).
Tickets: Sold out
Fact: Man Utd have now gone 17 games without drawing a game, while Charlton haven't drawn any of their last eight games
Recommended pub: Charlton Conservative Club (157 Charlton Church Lane)
So Charlton may have the first option on Robbie Keane should Inter Milan decide to sell the mercurial Irishman but at upwards of £13 million the Addicks might decide to opt out of that one, thanks very much. The fact is though that Charlton manager Alan Curbishley is in desperate need of a predator such as Keane, someone who can turn half-chances into goals and draws into wins. The Valley club were well in last Saturday's match at Anfield up until the last 10 minutes and must now hope that United will feel a little under par following their exertions in Austria. I wouldn't hold my breath though.
VERDICT: ADDICKS ON FOR A POINT
