Clark calls on fans to get behind team

Lee Clark insisted today that the Fulham players and supporters must stick together to improve the atmosphere at Craven Cottage.

Saturday's 0-0 draw against Charlton did little to excite the Fulham faithful, who chanted 'Four Four Two' in the hope of getting Chris Coleman to change his formation. They booed the home side off the pitch at the final whistle.

The Fulham manager had labelled sections of the crowd "mutes" in their previous home game against Derby but Clark believes the players must take some of the blame.

"We have to produce performances to give them something to shout about but they have to get behind us," said the Fulham captain.

"We are all in it together and have to make sure we stick together to get to where we want to be."

Charlton boss Alan Curbishley lamented his side's "missing end product" and is targeting a return to form in the Premiership with a clutch of games at The Valley.

"For us to get into the top six or seven, we have to win the majority of our home games," he said.
