Dikgacoi close to Fulham move

12 April 2012

South Africa midfielder Kagiso Dikgacoi claims he is on the verge of completing a move to Fulham.

The 24-year-old, who plays for Golden Arrows, was poised to join the West London club in the summer but encountered difficulties obtaining a work permit. He is hoping it will be a different story this time, though.

"Fulham are in the process of applying for a work permit for me and I am keeping my fingers crossed that everything will go according to plan," Dikgacoi told South African newspaper The Citizen.

"It has always been a dream of mine to ply my trade in Europe and I hope that I do get my opportunity in the English Premiership.

"There has been interest from other teams in Europe who want me to come for trials, but I would prefer joining Fulham who know me and are aware what I am capable of after spending some time with them in July.

"And with them trying to get me a work permit is proof that they are really interested in my services."
