Dutch delight as Lynn steals title

14 April 2012

David Lynn captured his maiden tour title at the Dutch Open in his 168th tournament.

Englishman Lynn shot a final-round 66 to finish on 16 under par and overturn a three-shot deficit to Richard Green.

Overnight leader Green shot a 72 to end three shots behind Lynn and had to settle for his third runner's-up spot of the season.

The Australian shared second place with Irishman Paul McGinley, whose final-round 65 boosted his Ryder Cup chances.

Gary Emerson also claimed his first tour title yesterday, winning the BMW Russian Open in Moscow by two strokes.
