The draw for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations takes place in Ivory Coast this evening.

Ahead of the tournament getting underway in January, all 24 teams will learn their fate later on as they are drawn into six groups of four.

AFCON heroes Didier Drogba, John Obi Mikel, Sadio Mane and Achraf Hakimi will help draw the balls out of the hat in Abidjan, with music superstar Akon in charge of proceedings.

Senegal are out to regain their crown after Mane led them to glory in Cameroon two years ago, while Mohamed Salah’s Egypt will also fancy their chances along with Nigeria, Algeria, Morocco and hosts Ivory Coast.
