Andy Carroll has returned to West Ham training following his row with manager David Moyes.

The former Liverpool striker was sent home from the club’s Rush Green training ground on Monday following a falling out with Moyes.

The Scotsman had promised to ‘deal with’ the striker after he headed down the tunnel early during Sunday’s defeat to Manchester City, having been left an unused substitute.

Carroll had refused to apologise on Monday, however, after the squad were given Tuesday off the striker returned to training on Wednesday and it is understood he has since apologised to both Moyes and the rest of his West Ham teammates.

Whether or not he earns a place in the 18-man squad for this weekend’s trip to Leicester is up for debate, however, with the issue – in the eyes of Moyes – dealt with, all focus is on the King Power.

Following the Manchester City game, West Ham sit just three points clear of the relegation zone, with home games against Manchester United and former manager Sam Allardyce and his Everton side to come at London Stadium.
