Alvaro Morata has admitted he wants his next club to make him feel important as the Spain striker continues to be linked with a transfer to Arsenal and Chelsea.

Morata will return to Real Madrid this summer after the Spanish side exercised a clause in his contract with Juventus ahead of a potential bidding war for the striker.

His agent confirmed last week that Morata has offers from "top clubs in the Premier League" but could still stay at the Santiago Bernabeu, which is dependant on Real's plans.

And Morata has echoed the same sentiment, saying he would be happy to stay and fight for a starting place in Zinedine Zidane's Real side but, if he does move, he hopes his new club will make him their first-choice striker.

"I want a team that makes me feel important and I would be ready to stay in Madrid to win my place," the 23-year-old told Spanish TV station Cuatro.

"I do not have to prove anything to anyone. I am a player of Real Madrid and they will decide if they want me, otherwise we will find another solution."

Morata's Spain side will be in action later today as the defending European Champions take on Antonio Conte's Italy team in Paris.
