Arsenal forward Danny Welbeck will miss the return to former club Manchester United on Sunday because of a knee injury.

Welbeck returned to Old Trafford to haunt United in the FA Cup in March as his quarter-final winner ended Louis van Gaal's hopes of debut season silverware.

Midfielder Aaron Ramsey, who has been carrying a leg problem, is expected to feature having resumed training again following Monday night's home defeat by Swansea.

Captain Mikel Arteta (ankle), midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and full-back Mathieu Debuchy (both hamstring) are still not match fit.
