Arsenal XI vs Watford: Confirmed team news, starting lineup, latest injuries today

1/27

With an FA Cup final against Chelsea on the horizon, Mikel Arteta has a dilemma over his team selection for Arsenal's clash with Watford this afternoon.

The Spaniard has promised Arsenal will give their maximum out of respect to the relegation battle, and the likes of Nicolas Pepe, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette all start.

In midfield, Dani Ceballos continues with Ainsley Maitland-Niles getting another chance to impress at wing-back.

In defence, Arteta is hampered by an injury to Shkodran Mustafi - which means he will miss the match with Watford on Sunday and probably next week’s FA Cup final on Saturday too.

As a result, Arteta fields his near first-choice back three.

Arsenal XI: Martinez, Holding, Luiz, Tierney, Willock, Ceballos, Xhaka, Maitland-Niles, Pepe, Lacazette, Aubameyang

Subs: Papastathopoulos, Torreira, Cedric, Nelson, Nketiah, Kolasinac, Macey, Smith, Saka

Watford XI: Foster, Femenia, Kabasele, Dawson, Masina, Doucoure, Hughes, Sarr, Pereyra, Welbeck, Deeney

Subs: Gomes, Mariappa, Cleverley, Chalobah, Cathcart, Joao Pedro, Gray, Quina, Pussetto
