Kieran Tierney has been pictured in Arsenal colours for the first time after his deadline day arrival from Celtic.

The Gunners have paid a record Scottish transfer fee of £25million to bring the 22-year-old to north London.

Arsenal turned down the chance to sign Philippe Coutinho during the final days of the window in order to concentrate on defensive reinforcements, having lost team captain Laurent Koscielny to Bordeaux after a bitter falling out between club and player.

David Luiz is also expected to join Tierney at the Emirates.

The Gunners have strengthened in all areas of the pitch this summer apart from in goal. Midfielder Dani Ceballos has arrived on loan from Real Madrid while Nicolas Pepe has been brought in for a club record fee from Lille to bolster their forward options.

Arsenal have also signed highly-rated defender William Saliba, who will spend the 2019-20 season back on loan with Saint-Etienne before linking up with his new club next summer.
