Clash: The collision between Courtois and Sanchez led to the Belgian's withdrawal

Belgium coach Marc Wilmotts will wait to see how Chelsea keeper Thibaut Courtois trains tonight before deciding whether he will be fit to play against Andorra tomorrow night.

Courtois only travelled to join up with the national team today having remained in London for the first half of the week due to the head injury he sustained against Arsenal on Sunday.

The 22-year-old keeper sustained mild concussion after colliding with Alexis Sanchez during Chelsea’s victory at Stamford Bridge and had to go to hospital for tests.

While Chelsea gave him the all-clear to play for his national side, he has stayed longer than Wilmotts expected in the capital as a precaution.

Courtois rested on Monday, did some basic exercises on Tuesday and underwent a light training session at Chelsea’s training ground yesterday.

He will arrive in time to take part in Belgium’s pre-match session, but it is expected Liverpool keeper Simon Mignolet will start against Andorra, with Courtois returning to the side against Bosnia on Monday.
