Celtic thrashed Old Firm rivals Rangers 4-0 at Celtic Park on Sunday to seal a place in the Scottish Cup final.

Rangers were never at the races as Moussa Dembele hit the post in the opening minutes, while Tom Rogic gave the Bhoys a deserved lead with a smart finish after 22 minutes.

Callum McGregor then pounced on a weak clearance to put Celtic two goals ahead with a fine finish seven minutes from half-time, and things only got worse for Rangers after the break.

Ross McCrorie was sent off for hauling down Dembele inside the Rangers penalty box, and the former Fulham forward dusted himself off to extend Celtic's lead to three goals with another 40 minutes to play.

Rangers then conceded their second spot-kick of the game as Jason Holt took out Patrick Roberts with 12 minutes left on the clock, and Olivier Ntcham completed the scoring for Brendan Rodgers' side.
