Charlton Athletic fixtures for 2019-20 Championship season: Full schedule with dates

Charlton Athletic are back in the second tier of English football after a remarkable season which saw the Addicks win promotion to the Championship.

Lee Bowyer guided Charlton to a League One Play-Off semi-final defeat back in 2017, but few expected the former midfielder to repeat the trick the following term.

However, amid much unrest at the club over Roland Duchatelet's ownership, the Addicks won 10 of their last 13 games, and are back into the Championship after beating Sunderland at Wembley in the Play-Off Final.

Bowyer has signed a new, improved contract to stay on despite chaotic negotiations with Duchatelet, and will be given a much-deserved chance to build on his success at The Valley.
