Jose Mourinho took time out from trying to bolster Chelsea’s title-winning squad to enjoy his other passion – tennis at the Aegon Championships at Queen’s club today.
Mourinho was at court side for Rafael Nadal’s match with Alexandr Dolgopolov and was due to be present when Andy Murray launched his bid for a fourth Queen’s title against little known Taiwanese player Yen-Hsun Lu on the same court.
The 52 year-old boss was spotted sitting directly behind Nadal's uncle, tennis coach Toni Nadal.
The “Special One” has previously spoken about the impact Murray’s 2013 win at Wimbledon made on him and the Chelsea manager recently visited the All England Club and was given a guided tour for of the most famous court in tennis by AELTC committee member Tim Henman.
Mourinho said of Murray’s win:” 'Winning Wimbledon is the same for all the players, but for a British player to win Wimbledon after so many years I felt so much emotion. I am not British, but on that day I felt like I was.
