Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp has confirmed that striker Loic Remy will be joining Chelsea, after the France international was left out of Rangers squad for the match against Sunderland.
Remy, who spent last season loan at Newcastle United, returned to QPR and looked set to stay at Loftus Road after his transfer to Liverpool fell through last month.

But following QPR's torrid start to the season - having lost all three of their matches so far - the former Marseille striker is now on the verge of joining West London rivals Chelsea.
Speaking ahead of the match, Redknapp confirmed: "[Remy] He's got a move - it looks like the the deal's probably done."
When asked whether the club in question was Chelsea, a deflated Rangers boss simply replied "as far as know, yeah."
With Remy arriving, Fernando Torres is one step close to leaving Stamford Bridge.
The Spain international arrived in Italy on Saturday for a medical ahead of his move to AC Milan.
The two clubs announced agreement on a two-year loan deal on Friday evening, taking the 30-year-old to the expiration of his contract in 2016.
The Rossoneri confirmed on Twitter that Torres had landed at Milan's Linate Airport, where he was greeted by 200 fans, and posted a picture of the player holding an AC Milan scarf before announcing he was at the Madonnina Clinic undergoing his physical tests.
