Chelsea vs Arsenal FA Cup Final team news: Antonio Conte's starting XI - John Terry and Cesc Fabregas on the bench

Tom Doyle27 May 2017

Antonio Conte has picked Nemanja Matic as N'Golo Kante's midfield partner for Chelsea's FA Cup Final against Arsenal, while captain John Terry is on the bench for his last game at the club.

Conte had a fully fit squad to choose from as he seeks to complete the Double after leading the Blues to Premier League title glory, and Matic makes the cut.

The Serbian adds more defensive protection than Fabregas, who misses out on the chance to start against his former club at Wembley.

Conte had a number of tough calls to make over the pitch, with Willian having to settle for a place on the bench along with Terry.

The Chelsea captain will be leaving the club this summer after struggling to win back his starting role in defence, but Conte has no room for sentiment today as the former England skipper is among his seven substitutes.

Chelsea XI: Courtois; Azpilicueta, Luiz, Cahill; Moses, Kante, Matic, Alonso; Hazard, Pedro, Costa
Subs: Begovic, Zouma, Terry, Ake, Fabregas, Willian, Batshuayi
