Liverpool outcast Mario Balotelli is a shock contender to join Crystal Palace this summer, according to bookmakers.
Balotelli, 25, struggled to make an impact for Liverpool after joining the Reds for £15million two summers ago, and is currently on loan at one of his former clubs AC Milan.
But despite a return to the San Siro, the Italy international scored just one Serie A goal last term to miss out on a Euro 2016 call-up with the Azzurri.
With FA Cup finalists Palace seeking forwards to score regularly following a desperately disappointing second half of the 2015/16 Premier League campaign, BetVictor have priced Balotelli (16/1) among the favourites to make a move to Selhurst Park.
Fulham forward Ross McCormack (16/1) has also been linked with the Eagles as Alan Pardew looks for further striking options after Emmanuel Adebayor failed to deliver for Palace.
And with problems at the other end of the pitch, Charlton goalkeeper Nick Pope (7/2) is favourite to sign for Palace this summer despite the 24-year-old suggesting he is happy to stay with the Addicks.
