Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino has handed his record signing Davinson Sanchez a full debut at Goodison Park.

The Colombian international, who signed from Ajax for a fee of £40m, came off the bench at Wembley Stadium for the final minute of their 1-1 draw with Burnley before the international break but is yet to start a game for Spurs.

The north Londoners will be looking to get their first win since the opening day of the season against Ronald Koeman’s Everton side.

Sanchez is the only summer signing named in the starting XI, with deadline day additions Fernando Llorente and Serge Aurier named amongst the substitutes while goalkeeper Paulo Gazzaniga has not travelled to Merseyside.
